House Rules
A small list, quietly observed. These keep the atelier feeling like itself for everyone who walks in.
1. Speak softly.
The room is small, the ceilings low. Conversations stay at the volume of a kettle just beginning to whistle.
2. Phones tucked away.
We ask guests to keep phones on silent and out of sight during service. Photographs are welcome between pours — please, no flash.
3. Arrive on time.
Ceremonial and gongfu services begin at the reserved hour. We hold tables for 10 minutes past your booking before releasing them.
4. Children & pets.
Quiet, seated children are warmly welcomed. Service animals are always welcome; other pets are best left at home, with apologies.
5. No outside food or drink.
We pair our teas with house-made sweets and small plates. Outside food and beverages cannot be served in the atelier.
6. Respect the ware.
Our cups and pots are made by hand, in small batches, by ceramicists we know personally. Please handle them gently.
7. Linger as long as you'd like.
If the room is full, we may ask larger parties to release the table after two hours — but otherwise, time is yours.
8. Be kind to the room.
And to each other. We thank you for helping us keep zymoraecho a place worth returning to.
